Wednesdays at the Blackfoot ART Center


What: A day and time just for you to create the painting of your choice! This is a great opportunity to create a painting that you’ve seen on our walls and have always wanted to paint! We have over 30 self-guided paintings to choose from, for painters   of all abilities, including beginners!


You may also choose to bring in your own resource photos or find one from our resource library to create your own original art.


Please contact us to reserve your preferred studio date and select your painting project(s). 


When: Wednesdays - (Check our online calendar to confirm Open Paint Studio is available on the day you plan to paint with us.)


Times: 12 noon to 5 pm; please arrive no later than 3 pm to allow enough time to complete your painting by 5 pm.


Cost:  Children 12 and under - $15.00 per painter for any size canvas up to 11" x 14." Must be accompanied by an adult.

            Teens / Adults 13 and up - $25.00 per painter for any size canvas up to 16" x 20."


What's included? Cost includes detailed self-guided painting instructions (or other resource materials), acrylic paint, canvas, use of brushes, easels, and everything else needed to complete your painting.*    One canvas per person. Need some help? An art instructor will always be available to provide support and to answer your questions.

What happens if I don't finish my painting before closing time? No worries! We have available times throughout the week for you to return to finish your painting. Open Studio time is just $5.00 per hour. 


* Additional supplies include watercolors, watercolor paper, pastels, and mixed media materials such as glue, or gloss medium, and collage items, depending upon your chosen project. Materials must be used in the Studio and cannot be removed for personal use.


The more the merrier -- invite your friends! This is a great way to enjoy art while giving and receiving encouragement and support. You'll also meet new people and have a great time! Bring your favorite snacks or drinks (no alcohol, please).
