Paint Your ART Out

A Thursday Art Class for Tweens and Teens!

This is a weekly studio ART class designed for ages 10 and up.

     Day: Thursdays

     Time: Summer hours: 11 am-1 pm (Session 1), 10 am-12 pm (Sessions 2-3)

     Cost: $15 per class

THIS CLASS IS CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

In a studio setting, student artists will explore drawing, painting, collage, and mixed media while experimenting with pencil, charcoal, pastel, watercolor, tempera, acrylic, cut paper, and ink techniques. They will also survey the works and styles of the old Masters as well as contemporary artists in search of their own art style. Our goal is to encourage individual style and interpretation while incorporating color theory and the basic elements of art, such as composition, form, space, value, movement, emphasis, and unity.

Each session is different, featuring new themes designed to promote and encourage creativity and new ideas. Some projects will take longer that one class period to complete. Enrollment fees include all materials and supplies.

To enroll, you can register your student for the session(s) of your choice below (recommended). As another option, you can download, print, and complete our Art Class Registration Form. Please mail registration forms with class fee to the Blackfoot Art Center, 146 S. Meridian St, Blackfoot ID 83221 or submit directly prior to attendance.
